1. Agreement

By accessing or using Fairshare*s (the “Service”), operated by Fairshare*s, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction) to use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

Fairshare*s provides tools to upload, share, and split expenses based on receipts and related information you choose to provide. Features may change over time.

3. Your account and conduct

You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. You agree not to misuse the Service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with other users, or use the Service for unlawful purposes. You represent that you have the right to share any content you submit.

4. User content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Fairshare*s a license to host, process, and display that content as needed to operate the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy of amounts, splits, and any personal data you include in receipts or shared links.

5. Data use

When you use the Service, you provide and generate information (for example receipt images, parsed line items, amounts, and technical data such as device or browser type). We use this information to run, improve, and secure the Service. We may create aggregated or de-identified statistics for internal purposes only. We do not sell your personal information. 6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably believe your use poses risk to the Service or others. You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete your account from Profile in the mobile app or web profile.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fairshare*s and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of amounts you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim or fifty U.S. dollars (USD $50), if applicable.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory local law applies.

9. Changes

We may modify these Terms or the Service. We will post updated Terms on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
